The fundraising team co-ordinate a number of activities throughout the year to raise additional funds for the upkeep of the churches and their expenses. The churches are registered charities and rely on donations from parishioners and the parish community.
The team comprises the members below and receives support from a number of other people in the parish and is always looking for additional people to support the activities or organise new ones.
In recent years we saw a number of successful events including the Fun Quiz, a dinner dance to the sound of Peter Sarsfield (winner of ITV’s Stars in Your Eyes), green token donation from Asda, Daubhill, Christmas Fair, 200 Club, Grand Draw and money raised from the stall at the Mayor’s Parlour Christmas Fair.
We are grateful to all the supporters of the parish activities, whether through donations, providing gifts, making things to sell or attending activities. We are also very grateful for the support we receive from the headteachers, staff and pupils from our two primary schools.

200 Club
The 200 club has been running for a number of years in its new format. Joining in is simple. You buy a number (you can buy more than one if you wish) for £1 and each week a number is drawn before 11.30 am Mass. The holder of the winning number receives £50 cash in prize money. Each quarter there are additional cash prizes to be won.
Last year we raised £5K towards church funds and distributed over £5K in prize money. The more members we have, the greater the annual prize money available and the more funds for the church.

Grand Draw
Launched normally in September. £1 per book.
We are looking for donations of prizes suitable for a grand draw. If you can help, please contact the fundraising team as soon as possible.
Tickets will be available for sale from September. Why not take some books to sell at work or any groups you may attend. The draw will take place at the Christmas Fair.

We are looking for donations or your time or talent. Can you help make things to sell, help on the day on a stall or setting up, donate unwanted items that we could sell.
